Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh orange juice about 8-10 oranges
  • 2 cups water
  • ½ cup honey
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 2 star anise
  • 6 whole cloves
  • 1 orange thinly sliced

Instructions

  • In a medium saucepan, combine fresh orange juice, water, and honey. Stir to mix in the honey.
  • Add cinnamon sticks, star anise, and cloves to the saucepan.
  • Place the saucepan over medium heat and let the mixture gently simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and allow the punch to cool slightly.
  • Strain the punch through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher.
  • Add thinly sliced orange rounds to the warm punch for added aroma.
